Product Description

While candles can add beautiful ambience to any setting, even a mild breeze can turn a small candle into a dangerous fire hazard. In addition they don't last long and can become costly to replace. But the long-lasting Battery-Operated Flicker Candle imitates natural candles, shining a flickering light and made of real vanilla-scented wax. Since it runs on battery power, you'll never have to worry about its flame burning out of control. The Battery-Operated Flicker Candle is powered by four AA batteries, sold separately. The Battery-Operated Flicker Candle contains 3 LEDs that produce multiple points of randomly shifting light, creating a glow that flickers, rolls, and casts dancing shadows, just like a real candle flame. A microchip inside the candle creates random, non-repeating light patterns.

Nice simulation candle. We use it in the bedroom for a nice effect. Works well and does a good job simulating a candle.
Love it!

I did a lot of research and ended up buying this candle for a camping trip. It looks and smells and flickers like a real candle. It has two brightnesses and the low is great. We now use it at home nightly in our bath area. I would buy more of these.
Great buy!

No longer do I have to worry about a possible fire or dripping wax. These make so much sense and they have a nice fragrance.
Nice but not great

Reviewer: Mikel,
I just got the 4 pillars I had ordered and I must say they look OK but the design of their battery compartment is flawed. First of all, 3 of them are peach-orange and only one is more like the beeswax color they are supposed to be. That is not a terrible thing; however the design of their battery compartment IS!!! The 3 similar pillars take 4 double A batteries, while the "odd" one takes only two so it's obvious they come from different batches. But the real issue is with the peach-orange ones whose battery compartment is so tight that I was afraid to break the delicate wax borders by applying too much pressure while inserting the 2 inner batteries. In the end I managed to put them into place with the help of a key but I am not happy knowing that whenever I have to replace them I may break the candles...

Moreover, the vanilla scent is also barely OK. It's not too strong but it's not very refined either. I wish they offered the same product without any scent at all, just with the natural smell of wax. On the "bright" side (pun intended) they look much better when they're lit and the color difference is not noticeable anymore.

In conclusion, unless you absolutely must have this product, I would advise you to buy a different brand. In fact, I already had two pillars I had bought at pottery barn that are scentless, sturdier and have a 4 hour timer. The only problem was that they looked too "perfect" so to "fix the problem" I just roughened them with a fine sandpaper, carved the top with a knife and melted it with a spout lighter and voila! They actually look just as good if not better than Enjoy Lighting's pillars.
