Made from real vanilla scented wax, these gorgeous candles are very realistic. The light flickers exactly like a wick flame. These battery operated LED flickering pillar candles can be used anywhere you would use a regular pillar candle, and many places you wouldn't. On/off switch on the bottom. | These candles are very nice, but you really have to pay attention to the batteries. Even though there are two springs at the bottom of the battery cache, they go in at opposite directions. At first I thought they were broken, but after contacting the company, (who also had to figure this out) I was pleasantly surprised. They have a great glow and flicker, without the danger of a real candle. |

| The only problem I have with these candle is that they go through batterys too quickly. |

| These are more fragile than I expected and are not as well constructed as others for the same price. But they got me through the 2-day blackout so I had to give them 2 stars. |
