I have tried many battery operated candles at different stores and returned them all. They were all fake looking glows.
This is the first set I bought on Amazon. They are absolutely great!!! They light/flicker is realistic and the candles are real wax. They do take 4 double A's which is a lot, but they really work!!
The only thing to note is that they have a yellow orange bulb thing over the light to give it a realistic color of the glow. . .but I use my in places people can't see down inside, so that's okay. All in all I LOVE THEM! |
Perfect candle for my Funkin (self-carved plastic foam pumpkin)

| I needed battery powered lights that were bright enough to illuminate my "fake" pumpkins on Halloween night. Got one of these for each pumpkin. Perfect. They were on for hours and still going strong. They are just as bright as a candle. They have a very real candle "flicker". And the exterior is wax so it REALLY looks like a candle. The only unreal-looking thing about them is a little round orange cap you can see if you look down into the well of the candle, but that was not at all an issue for a pumpkin and wouldn't be on a fireplace mantle or anywhere else where you can't see into the candle. |
Gift for my daughter.

| I gave my daughter one for her Christmas and she requested 2 more for her birthday. She has had a dinner since with this candle as the centerpiece and it was lovely. |
