<a href="http://kansieo.com">gel candles</a>

I agree with you about those scented air fresheners. Just read the warning labels and that is enough for me besides my nose really acts up with those. Some time ago, a friend recommended a product called fridge-IT activated carbon odor absorbers to take care of the smell that was coming from under my sink and trash area. I tried it and it really worked great and without fragrances that just cover up the odor. Since then, I now use Fridge IT odor absorbers just about everywhere around the house to keep those lingering smells away. I buy them usually at Linens N Things but also on line at. They have other products I like too.

put fabric softener sheets in places where they can't be found but can still be smelled. (maybe under the couch or something)
bake something wonderful. i love when i come home and it smells like something warm and inviting
maybe wash all your pillows/blankets and such (using lovely smelling fabric softener)

That febreez sounds good I think I will try that :)

Unscented candles dont smell of much to be honest. You could have fresh flowers around the home, also potpourri, scented wood balls - they work a treat can be bought in most supermarkets.
